We have a busy January, with bake sales, movie nights, and more. Plus, we are already starting to plan for spring events like our annual Makerfest 3/16! Read more below, and consider getting involved!
BNS Family Movie Night
On Friday, Jan 26th, the BNS auditorium will be transformed into a movie theatre, complete with freshly popped popcorn! The film showing will be Ponyo!
Families will be able to meet and mingle and enjoy pizza in the cafeteria before the show! DOORS OPEN AT 5:30PM. Pizza will be served at 5:30pm. Movie will start at 6pm. Run time is approx. 1 hr, 40 min.

First Arts Committee event: handsewing
The Arts Committee is a group of parent volunteers devoted to supporting arts enrichment beyond the school curriculum, through PTA-led workshops and other programming.
15th Annual PTA Fun Run 10/28
Please join us for the 15th Annual PTA Fun Run this year on Sat., October 28th at 10am in Prospect Park (race bib pickup and pre-race fun starts at 9am). The PTA Fun Run is a 3.3 mile run/walk/scoot around the Prospect Park loop in Brooklyn, and is an energizing community-building event with live music, prizes, opportunities to connect with other schools and PTAs, and fundraise for our schools!

From fun games to learning the names of their classmates and getting to know each other, to finding their way to the bathroom and exploring the library and the Big Yard, students are growing more comfortable in their school.
